NEW FINANCIAL REGIME – (Effective 1st April 2004)

SECRETARY OF STATE FEES:

NOTE: No Secretary of State Fee is payable on deposits in voluntary liquidations prior to 1st April 2004.

Secretary of state fee on ISA deposits on bankruptcies and compulsory liquidations received from 6th April 2009.

Enterprise Act Bankruptcy & Compulsory Winding up orders made prior to1st April 2005.

 

0% 0% applied to realisations after 6th April 2009.

 

 

 

 

Enterprise Act Bankruptcy orders made from 1st April 2005. 17% 0% on the first £2000                                 A fee (up to a maximum of £80,000) calculated as a percentage of all chargeable receipts relating to the bankruptcy.
Enterprise Act Compulsory Winding up orders made from 1st April 2005.

The following fees will be payable from 6th April 2009:

For each purchase or sale of any government securities made at the request of a trustee in bankruptcy or a liquidator  in compulsory or voluntary winding up –

         (a)in respect of a purchase, where the cost of                   

             the securities (including accrued interest, if                              

             any)-

                       (i) does not exceed £5,000, a fee of –

     

                                    (ii) exceeds £5,000 a fee of –

 

 

 

(b) in respect of a sale, where the proceeds of sale of the securities (including accrued interest, if any) exceed £5,000, a fee of -
